Caroline County Bird Club Youth Birdwatching Backpack Contest 2010                        

 

April 1 – May 31, 2010

 

 

No fee to enter or to win.  Open to all youth ages 10 through 17 who are residents of Caroline County.

 

Contestants must note date, name of species, habitat, and location where seen.

All birds must have been seen in Caroline County.

 

Log sheets available here or may be emailed to contestants.

 

All contestants must register by April 20, 2010. Completed log sheets must be mailed to

Debby Bennett at P. O. Box 404, Denton, MD 21629 by June 7th, 2010.   

 

Contestants are welcomed to attend any field trips conducted by the Caroline County Bird Club during that time period.

Winners are the two who log the most species in the time indicated!

 

The two winners of this contest will be awarded a backpack worth over $100 with

                               A signed copy of Bill Thompson III’s Young Birder’s Guide
